Yeah. But I'd much prefer if our novice striker on the bench was a real talent, like Nemeth. And I know he is just returning from injury, I still believe he'd be more of a threat than Ngog.

Yup. He hasn't exactly been shit, but Rafa can easily defend dropping him for a game or two, same for Mascherano. Other players have to see that they have a chance if the first choice is not performing.

 

On the same basis Babel could've gotten the nod instead of Riera, but Ryan hasn't exactly shone when coming on either.

Apart from Agger that is the team I would have put out. Sami never needed pace so no problem there.
