Too many to mention, but I like the ones with strong political and religious views expressed on them. Seeing people like Monty, Neil G, Strontium Dog and co go hell for leather on those threads is what tha GF is all about for me.

Some of my favourites fell in the sweeping cull that hit the forum a while back. The sad thing is that you kind of forget why they were great and just live off the legend. There was one that I started as a dig at a bloke calling himself Djibbers, that was spamming the forum, that went full-scale GF on the *f and was brilliant. Maybe I'm wrong but I think we all have a little bit of bias for threads we were involved in or started, even if The Pasta Thread was acclaimed as a great one at the time.

The one where Olly the fireman got completely owned was a brilliant one and I think it counts as GF on the *f as it was evidently a GF bullying that occured and was not something those of *f stock could have produced themselves.

The best have usually had input from the old boys that have a rep for a reason and have also featured some of the rising stars of the time.

*Casts mind back to when the likes of RiS and RR were newbies whose irreverant style got them noticed as ones with potential*

I'm talking GF here, none of that f******l shenanigans. I'm bored and poorly and need a laugh. Can you find me some classics? Thank you hombres.

I know I might be crossing some lines here, but these have to be GF worthy!

As much as watching Milan spread the comedy on thick is entertaining I'm going to have to neg you for your obvious *f leaning here.

Guest The Big Green Bastard

Is it a good idea to incorporate a "GF classics" seperate forum...i think so, and only threads which go above 3 pages should qualify.

There have been several brilliant threads that have lightened my life during my time here , but only one has left me in absolute fits of laughter & it is the 'Kris Akabusi' thread from Tom Ross ( 20/5/07 )
