The Iraqi parliament have just voted in favour of a motion to remove all US troops from Iraq. It still has to be ratified by the Iraqi PM though. 

 

It looks like they've had enough of their territory being used as one of the battlefields of the proxy war.

Yeah you could make it simple and look at the state of the US and the US president to know that Iran have good reason to be concerned and having some influence where the US gov and allies are active in the area.

I am not disputing they should be concerned, I just don't agree with the view Iran is only reacting to American threat, they are fighting for dominance in the wider region with Saudis and Turkey and this would be going on without the US and the West and Israel. And probably without oil. Maybe slightly different hands would have been been dealt in that case, so they may have aligned differently.
