Just had a text from my brother, he's round at his sister in law's atm, her fella Danny had a heart attack and died at 8 o'clock this morning. Completely out of the blue. 45 years old!

No fucker had a good word for him tbh, but I always really liked him, got on well.

Only saw him on Saturday, captaining the local cricket team 2nd xi to victory. He dropped 3 easy catches to go along with his 3rd duck in as many games, so they're hardly gonna miss his runs or his fielding, his captaincy was highly questionable as well tbh but ffs, 45 years old and dead as fuck.

Rest in peace Danny boy, fare thee well mate.

Is he the one who used to work in same building as me when I was still involved in the government hell hole?

That was another one of my highly unpopular mates, Dr Cheeks. About as popular Jimmy Savile in a creche that lad.

K'nell, I had a busted hip and I'm nowhere near that bad. Grim news mate, very grim.

If true of course......

Secondary progressive MS mate, so It's true I'm afraid.

I needed one years ago to be honest, but I'm too stubborn for my own good.

Every time I use the stairs it's like a mini victory even though it is very hard work and unsafe, but I've taken a tumble too many so I've had to finally realise it's time.

Fucking pricey though, it's costing the best part of £3000.

Sorry to hear that. Splash the cash if you got it. Every little bit of comfort you can get is worth the money. This is the rainy day you've benn saving towards.

Are they bollocks. You’re just coming into your prime. You’ve many of your ‘best days’ ahead of you yet.

Don't get me wrong, I still have good days but definitely feels like my time on earth peaked in my early late teens/early twenties.

Realising your best days are most likely behind you. I'm only 34 as well, it's fucking depressing.

Edit: Terrible use of you're.

20's are great, my 30's have been dreadful, my 40's will be amazing.

Not a chance, I’ve seen the future. There’s a Tuesday afternoon, around 3.47pm to be precise, in your forty seventh year that will surpass all that came before it.

There’s also a Sunday just before you turn forty that me blush and leave you to it. I’d seen enough.

Enjoy…
