Really good movie this. About man who has terminal cancer and in the time he has left he realises he's not the only person in his self absorbed world. One of the saddest and loneliness ending to a movie.

Might skip this one.

The Assassination of Jesse James By The Coward Robert Ford is one of the best films of the last decade.

Casey Affleck should have won an Oscar for this because he is incredible as Robert Ford. Brad Pitt, Sam Rockwell and a host of others also turn in remarkable performances.

Add in a fabulous score by Warren Ellis and Nick Cave and some jaw dropping cinematography by Roger Deakins and you have a modern day masterpiece.

Criminally ignored by those happy to vegitate and be force fed the latest pap regurgitated by the Marvel, DC and Star Wars "franchises".

Marvel wasn't much of a thing but you're right this film is criminally overlooked. Was it out same year as No Country for Old Men?

I thought it was much better than that but it didn't even get a look in for awards.
