You've spelt Derby wrong, and you're using 39 lives to settle a football argument. Are you one of the ones who makes an aeroplane noise to every manc you meet and then gets angry when they sing "without killing anyone"? You sure seem like it from this post

I think your being a tad harsh mate.

Not really, the blues do blame it on Heysel, but do we really need to point that out in front of god knows how many millions of people on TV? When the mancs sing about Hillsborough, it makes me cringe and feel angry towards them, imagine one of the Heysel victims' mum was watching the Derby and heard us singing about this just to get one over on them lot?

Very well said. The day we start singing about Heysl is the day we may as well close up and go home. Fucking woeful song and an embarrassment.

Well I don't think the actual song is any worse than the 'ifithadntbeenforheysel' stuff we see on here all the time, but your right about us singing it in front of millions of people and the potential for victims family's to hear it, so fair point.

Sorry mate English wasn't my strongest subject at school. The songs refering to Heysel as a ban?

For the record I'd never sing about munich fella. I think from your post your one of those guys who thinks people are dicks for bouncing to Torres song or singing in general! Go back to the back of the main stand with your bovril grandad!

Well I'm a teenager who when he rings up for tickets books them for the back of the kop so I can bounce to the Torres song without looking a twat. Looks like we were both wrong, but surely you can see where Im coming from? If Villa fans had been constantly saying that they only had to sit down because of Hillsborough, and thats why their 80s 'success' dwindled in the 90s, would we make a song about that?

This got passed to me at half time of the match. At first I thought it'd be funny to wind the blues up but after the derision the mancs got from ourselves and the press about singing about it during YNWA etc I think it'd be hypocritical for us to use it as a weapon against the blues. Naturally people will sing it, but i expect there will be a backlash along the lines of "well eef de red shite can mention eet we can too"

Too a degree mate but I think your confusing the desaster with the ban! The songs about their bitterness towards the ban and them blaming everything on the ban! Not glorifying the desaster! No else uses excuses? We aren't bitter that united got a great side come through their ranks just as Sky pumped millions into the game. We don't say its sky's fault? We just keep believing and supporting. Ok we hate them but not because of that because of where they're from etc. I'd never sing anything that mocks a desaster and anyone that does isn't a red in my eyes.

We cannot possibly use Heysel as a means of a joke against them. It's tasteless, disrespectful, sick and wrong, It's bad enough them and the mancs doing it, but that's their level, not ours.

You can't write a proper sentence, you can't spell, you can't count. And you can't see how this is not funny. You don't have much going for you, do you?

My 2p worth is its a funny post, but a post it should stay.

We are talking about 39 deaths and the darkest day in this clubs history as has been pointed out before

Before people start on about Hillsborough, i was there then, and i was effected far more by that day than i care to let on, it was indeed an horriffic day.

But Heysel stained the good name of the City not only the club

those Italian fans who lost there lives, are owed a lot more, than to have their loss used to score points of the bitters come Derby day

so yes it was funny as a bost but we are much better than using it to point score off the bitters beating them will be more than enough for me

i echo the majority on this thread, this should never be sung at the match ot anywhere else. Using peoples lives in order to get one up over your rivals, especially when those lives were cost in part due to our fans is dispicable. It is lower than the gerrard songs they sing without a doubt.
