Tomorrow I have 12 hours of live punk rock at The Melkweg in Amsterdam. Cock Sparrer are headlining but I am looking forward to The Damned more.

Really wanted to get to the Melkweg and Occii when in Amsterdam last year. We tried to get into a gig at Paradiso but couldn't get tickets that late on, was kind of fortunate as I was suffering big time that day.

 

What are the clubs like out there?

I have not been to a club here for years so I could not tell you. When I did bother they were shite in comparison to the squat techno stuff but it depends what you are after really. Can't do that stuff anymore. 

 

I only go Melkweg and Paradiso for bands now and they are great for that. Occii is boss if you like what is on. I go Utrecht, Haarlem, Rotterdam or Den Haag just as much really though.

 

You can always buy tickets before you come over of course. Good excuse for a visit.
