Decided to go back through Lacuna's earlier albums, just found this which I think is one of my favourites of theirs. Cristina's singing (the main reason I like this band) just gets better as the song goes on and I really miss their old sound at times.

Have realised I definitely prefer Lacuna's older stuff recently, Scabbia's vocals are too far back for me in the mix in their newer music. They've focused more on heavier instruments and style I think which I'd normally be fine with, but she's one of my favourite ever singers so it just makes me go back to older albums more. This is from their Comalies album in 2002 where I think they had the vocals/instruments balance perfect.

It was hidden away at like 11.55pm on BBC4 on Friday night.

There's actually loads on Amazon Prime if you have that. I started watching the Rammstein Paris show and ended up watching a documentary on the Anti-Nowhere League.

Came on to say there are a few live streams going on tonight if people fancy them.  Dropkick Murphys are live streaming a St Patrick's day set from 11pm (best to search for it I don't have the exact link, was sent a screenshot from their facebook).

I was just searching for Road Rash game clips and found this song on one and tracked it down. Couldn't believe it when I heard the first whispered lyrics "Another virus breaks, spreading out of control". I think this is a great song though and also that the production on it is amazing.

Love that new Deftones track.

 

I'm currently obsessed with Japanese punk band Sakuran-Zensen, they're a lot of fun. The single TAXI MAN is great, the video tremendous and the album might be the best thing I've heard all year. I would pay good money for a copy of their album on vinyl and to see them live.
