Not going to the Olympics because she finished 6th in the US Olympic trials.

A clubmate and an occasional training partner just came 6th in the women's 3,000 steeple...and here I am on the couch eating crackers. I really need to get back training.

 

Farah up next in the 5,000. I hope he'll go for a quick time, but he'll probably just bide his time and win it with a 51/52 second last lap.

Does anybody actually believe what they are seeing is natural? It's the reason I haven't watched Athletics for years and wont again.

Another correlation between stellar money(there are of course ways for the 'amateurs' to pocket the money) and extreme cheating.

KJT currently in lead in and on for WR apparently.

Final event about to start for KJT but she'll need a Herculaneum effort to get the WR.

 

Could be a gold and silver for GB.

Finished about 25 points back from a WR ( put in a massive long jump but got a marginal red flag which would have easily done it ) but good to see a pb in the shot putt and greater consistency.

 

If she can just get to ‘ok’ in the SP and javelin she would be hard to beat.

Won the Gotzis heptathlon with a personal best ( finally past 6800 points )  and even did 42m in the javelin.

 

French training camp seems to be suiting her. Her coach made me laugh when he said that her French is a disaster but luckily enough he wanted to learn English.
