Have a proper point system, bankroll management, do your research, concentrate on stuff you know, etc, etc.

 

There are no "accas bad"/"accas good" type rules in betting. Like anything else with this you are simply searching for value. Something at 1/10 can be great or terrible value, just as something at 1000/1 can be.
