One question, does anyone know how to save the forum so that I don't have to search for it every time i start the app?

When you're on the forum, click the box in the top right and choose Add to Favourites. Then you can jiggle the home screen around so it's the first button.

I have found a problem with it. You can't distinguish between the gold members and the scumbags when you venture into non-member territory. Most disconcerting.

Presence of avatars will tell most apart.

 

Except the odd few who have somehow managed to keep theirs.

Using forum runner on my iPhone now to reply to this. Much better than safari speed wise.

One thing I've noticed is forum runner struggles if you try to load a thread where the last page doesn't exist (forum says18 pages but there are only 17 for example)

Is it possible to put apps I've downloaded on someone else's phone? A friend said dropping them into the mobile applications folder in the itunes one will allow them to be put on when you sync your phone. Is this so?

Yep. Its a little irritating, but to be honest, the threads with pages missing tend to be the gigantic spaz ones.
