Picked up Kerrang today with them on the front and looked them up when i got home.

 

Sound pretty good.

What are their other albums like?

 

I the one with Wonderson in my hand in HMV last week but decided to put it back. I only remember it had that track on it as it made me think of Woodison.

 

I've heard exerpts on HMV's website, it doesn't sound as good as The '59 Sound but I can't really pass comment on a 30 sec clip with dire quality.

Bought Sink Or Swim at the weekend. How are these not massive?

 

This album & The '59 Sound are brilliant.

 

Why are these still unknowns when tripe the new Killers song are riding high in the charts?

Kind of reminds me of Springsteen, which is no bad thing.

First time I heard them was at Glatonbury with The Boss and thought the song that they performed was excellent, so will delve deeper to see what the rest is like.

I have both of their albums and they have been one of my fave bands since I first heard them about 7 months ago, really underated great band!

Downloaded '59 Sound from Emusic last year (for free) and have been listening to it solidly since.

 

Haven't heard their previous album.

I got The '59 Sound off iTunes for £4.74 off the back of hearing 'Great Expectations' on the radio - an absolute steal and still priced at that now, though perhaps not for much longer. Missed their Glastonbury set apart from the last song - any good?

I had never even heard of these until I saw them at Glastonbury (on the tele) this weekend

 

Got both albums and the 'Senor & The Queen LP' this week, absolutely boss. Love it when you 'discover' a new band even if you do get there about 3 years late!!

Therefore at this point I'd like to point out I liked them first on TLW & declare myself the TLW trend setter.

 

Ted - They have an EP called Senor & The Queen & an album called Sink Or Swim which both pre-date The '59 Sound. Both are as good song wise as T59S, just not as well produced.
