A brave departure but I'm not loving it as it sounds a repetitive Chem Bros track and one of BP's strongest assets was Russell's guitar.

I'm liking it more and more with each listen; which is a pretty common theme with Bloc Party.

I like it a lot, having had a couple of listens today. It's different and it's great to see them have a go at something different, much like Flux and to extent The Prayer. I think they like to mix things up a bit with the singles and we certainly haven't heard the last Russell's choppy guitar sound.

 

I can't wait for the new album and may explode in the interim period, welcome back boys.

I liked the early material for it's raw sound, subsequent stuff was bearable but smacked of a band with label cash-on-the-hip to spend in the recording studio and thus over-produced many tracks.

I really have tried to get into Bloc Party over the years, but I can't do it. This song is really quite bad.

I've really got into Bloc Party in the last 12 months or so. They are a very underrated band in my opinion.
