The cosmological distances involved here are truely beyond human comprehension.

In other news and if things go to plan, Artemis 1 will then splash down off the coast of San Diego at 12:40 p.m. EST (1740 GMT).

I watched a video the other day that proposed the possibility that the universe was actually inside a Black Hole and the Big Bang made that Black Hole.

I always take what Brian Cox says with a pinch of salt, I always get the impression other physicists think he's thick.

"Oh fuck, here's Cox in his leather jacket, he makes me feel A to the X to the V but INVERTED."

"Haha that's a quality put down."

I went to see him in Manchester a few weeks ago and there were loads of physicists in the audience and they were wanking over his every word.  I think the physics dept at Manchester is pretty shit not too.

I quite like him myself but by its nature there'll always be factions pushing different theories. Steven Hawking used to debunk his own theories about evey three years,  he'd literally publish a book and say "throw the last one away."

Get you head around that- The UNIVERSE (as in every single bit of space)  is in a black hole- so whats outside the black hole, as the black hole has to be somewhere.

And whilst your thinking about watch this mentalist Sky dive from Space

That's the scary thing, we know about other black holes so what if there were inhabited planets inside those black holes and they don't know we're outside their black hole. It's like the house of mirrors.

A good thought provoking presentation by David Kipping on why, despite there being billions of stars and planets in the galaxy, we might be alone as the only intelligent civilisation.

Horrifying thought that though.
