Is it me or does the red bit look bigger than the black bit? If I'm right, I'm going to put in a request that from now on, black holes are to be called red holes.

In other news I have a pink hole that needs some exploration.

I put this in the TV section but thought anyone who pops in here might like it...

Missions (series 1) BBC iPlayer.

French sci fi about a trip to Mars. Ten episodes, all about 20/25 minutes each.

If you like space travel and exploration, you should like this. Got a bit too wacky the last two episodes, but I enjoyed it nonetheless. Some euro eye candy. Funky euro soundtrack. Subtitles.

7/10.

The black bit is the hole, though. The red bit - the light - is the accretion disk. There's good simulations here.

Now that Voyager 1 has left the solar system it's sending fucked up data.

Do you know why? I reckon there's nothing there.

When stuff like this happens, we all know there is only one credible explanation.

Space Godzilla.
