The Centenary kits (the first ones with the Carlsberg sponsor) are the worst kits we've ever had in my opinion. Shit shiny material, terrible badge, and one of our worst ever teams at a time when the Mancs were finally getting their shit together. Getting battered by the likes of Bolton in the FA Cup, getting battered by Spartak Moscow in Europe, getting battered by shite like Coventry in the league, and a team consisting of mediocrity like Tanner, Piechnik, Kozma and Stewart (though the latter has some valid reasons for why it never clicked). Grim times.
