I went to one in my old school that he spoke in back in November.

His opening line was "before you ask, eighteen stone four pounds."

He enjoyed talking about the goal he scored against Man U in 1986 I think it was. The camera crew where on strike so he describes what happens by with commentary that would put martin tyler to shame. I saw him on LFC TV the other night and he was talking about it then aswell.

Where did he say he hit it from. It get's longer every year 20 yards, 30,35. it should be from Everton Valley now.

He said he ran with it from 70 yards, took it past 3 players and then hit it about 30 yards out.

Ask him about his first night in the cells. Apparently after lock down all the lags were asking him questions and he was too upset to answer them. His cell mate did an impression of him and answered all their questions, he had them going for bloody ages and no one ever cottoned on.

Ask him why he is a big headed twat.

My mate went up to him at a function and said, 'Alright Jan, you don't know me...' and he replied, 'Well lets keep it that way'. The lad then quipped back with, 'You fat bastard'.

I remember you sayin this before. Ive heard a few similiar stories about him. Just cos hes a "legend" fans think he a nice person.

He is also an Arsenal fan. Fact.

As one who was there, I'd say that was about right - he scored a similar one against (I think) Southampton to cries of 'Ram-bo! Ram-bo!'

Excellent player he was.
