If this is true its got to be the Sheikh putting the cash up to force the issue of that fat cunt Hicks selling up. Gillett couldn't even put the 20 million together for the refinancing last year!

 

That really is a lovely thought of Hicks going bankrupt it might also explain why he's trying so hard to hold on to us even tho he's hated, mind you there was a story knocking around last year about Hicks going broke!

Assuming that Hicks has to match the amount then Gillette may be doing this either to force a share issue or to reduce Hicks' pool of cash that he was saving to buy Gillettes share. Big assumption though.

 

If it is true, then why invest your own cash (as he can't put the debt onto the club without board approval) in a club you are about to sell ?

but he doesn't own these things really does he? the banks do - he took loans for all his "assets" and if the value of his assets is less than the value of his loans (which according to some recent reports may be true), then a situation could arise where he could become bankrupt.

 

having said all that, i don't think he will become bankrupt and this is another wind up!
