When I used to watch a lot of Italian football Del Perio was a favourite of mine.

 

Me too, great player and he's having a great season for Juve and he has a good chance of being picked for Italy for Euro 2008.

 

Zidane is an obvious one but that man was a genius, it's a pity his career ended the way it did, still a genius though and one of my all time favourite players.

Riquelme was not in the same league as Zidane, nor anywhere near it.

 

Around the time we played Celta Vigo i believed Alexander Mostovoi, to be one of the world's greats.

Some good shouts so far. I'd also say both Laudrup brothers.

 

I loved Zola when he was at his peak at Chelsea. Long before the money took over.

I was a big fan of Zola. No matter how hard he was tackled or how cynically he was fouled, he just got on with it and played with a smile on his face.

 

I've got to add Roger Milla since he hasn't been mentioned yet.

 

Last one I'll mention is Georgi Kinkladze. I was sure that if we'd have signed him at the peak of his powers, we'd have had number nineteen sown up long ago.
