Gardening!!!!

In the 40 or so minutes since I went into the 'great' outdoors to cut the lawn, I have broken two electrical gardening items and am now bleeding profusely! :wallbutt:

The lawnmower fell to pieces (to be fair it was on its way out anyway) so I decided to do some hedge trimming. Ten minutes in, I manage to cut through the electrical cable and drop the fucking thing onto the back of my ankle/achilles tendon.

I'm currently sitting here with a tea towel wrapped round my ankle to stem the flow of blood...

Still, could have been worse - I didn't have a circuit breaker on the trimmer, so I could still be convulsing in the back garden from an electric shock...

I don't mind the basics - you know, cutting the lawn, keeping things tidy etc - in a small garden.

However, we've got a fucking monster garden which the wife loved the moment she saw it when we were looking to buy - 'oooh, we must get this one. Imagine sitting out in the summer having a glass of wine blah blah blah'.

Her contribution to the gardening thus far?

A little more than the sweet sum of fuck all!!

And I think I may have upset the neighbours - my language was somewhat fruity to say the least.
