Sanga, their first choice right-back, is injured for all three games. Their replacement full-backs are suspect and not as quick or reliable as Sanga.

It's a chance for Babel to shine.

We'll be fine, and undefeated in our next three games.

i think you are right - it is imperative that babel has a big game....tonight, and the other two as well

Just thought you´d like to know its no longer April 1st, its actually April 2nd today

Kuyt will offer nothing against Arsenal, he has no pace to speak of and usually gets bundled off the ball by a bit of strength of which Arsenal have plenty. Stick Torres on the right of the front three, with Babel on the left. Arsenal showed last season they struggled against Crouchs height and have shown many times this season they struggle against height, like they're scared of heading the ball.

Kuyt gets bundled of the ball usually?

He may not have a great skill or goal scroring ability, but he doesn't get bundled off the ball mate. He is strong as fuck. In fact he rarely loses the ball due to lack of strength. What he does with the ball is another matter though...

That's right, take Torres out of his position because we can afford to do that . . .

*shakes head*

Its not like its a total change, he'll still get in goal scoring position - he is just less likely to get double teamed by Toure and Gallas like he was against Man Utd (twice)with Vidic and Ferdinand.

I think thats what Rafa wants (Toure and Gallas doubling up on Torres) - will give more space for Gerrard to shoot.

have we tried that formation this year ?

it might be interesting to see at some point, but now is not the time for experimentation
