But they shouldnt be showing any leg breaks or things like that, and i hope this becomes a precedent for future injuries. Saying that, i hope this sort of an injury doesnt happen again for a long long time......

You can see from those pictures that Eduardo's foot was planted, hence, snap.

It's scary how easily it can happen. A lad did me with a worse tackle that than a few months ago in a sunday league game, straight on, over the ball, knee height. I was so lucky never had my leg planted, just had scratches from my knee to my ankle.....he got a yellow card and i could barely walk for a week after the game had finished.

 

Sickening and scary. These tackles need the correct punishment and harsher bans.
