Ran incredibly smooth from start to finish with no scenes unnecessary.

Before getting an internet flight from Las Vegas and seeing the absolutely shit Howard Hughes Exhibit, I completely forgot about this film.

 

Anyways, it’s still brilliant. Di Caprio & especially Blanchett are great. Superb stuff.

Beetlejuice 2 - 7.5/10

 

Have watched this twice in the last 3 days (with the kids and through work). It's a good film in it's own right, the original isn't great apart from Keaton's iconic character. I actually think this better. Dafoe probably steals the movie with his movie detective parody which takes some doing given Beetlejuice is such a fantastic character. Enjoyable, could have been a lot worse.

Furie -7.5/10. Former criminal’s now peaceful life with her daughter is disrupted as daughter is snatched by a child trafficking gang, who she tracks, and the usual well choreographed and brutal fight scenes ensue.

The Empire Strikes Back

 

Found out it’s been doing the rounds on the cinemas without any fanfare so had to go and see it. 
 

An absolute masterpiece of a movie. Elevated itself back to its rightful place at no 1 of the all time greats.

 

Only downside was it felt like the screen we watched it in only had the front speakers on and C3PO is the worst character in the universe. Even Jar Jar Binks must have got fed up with this cunt.

 

My Mrs has a face on all weekend cos I was taking her to this but even she said she loved it when the lights went on.

 

10/10 would have been 11 but for 3PO and Boba Fetts horrible overdubbed Aussie accent
