My mate sat through gangs of New York with me when we came out said Robert De Niro is brilliant at playing mental bastards. I stopped for a moment as I didn't realise he was in the film. My mate thought Robert De Niro was Daniel Day Lewis for 2 hours until I told him.

Every time I've been to see a film with him since I always say "Robert De Niro was fucking boss in that".

Hell or high water is meant to be really good, it's on at the Cameo as well, love it in there.

Cheers. I'll check it out

It turned out he'd already picked out the one for us...Dare to be Wild. The story of the youngest ever Chelsea Flower Show gold medal winner. He meant well. There wasn't a film's worth of story to tell. 1/10. I can't even decide what the point was for

That sounds like the worst premise for a film I've ever heard, Champ. What next 'Crufts 2', a tale of a young girl & her poodle & how they went on to be crowned champions of the canine World?

I watched 'Falling in Love' with De Niro & Meryl Streep yesterday, good performances from them but a bit of a predictable story, 6/10.

That it was based on a true story didn't make it any better. The Observer yesterday described it as 'a herbaceous bore of a movie.' Harsh but fair
