Gravity - 8.5/10. Very simple, very effective. And absolutely gorgeous. Regarding the 3D - I'm not a fan - it's a must. It's tailor made for it.

My expectations were sky high and may have put a tiny (tiiiny) damper on my experience, but had I gone in 'blank' I'd still rave about it.

Fuck, this is a poor film. The first 2 Die Hards are classics of their genre but this one makes you feel you've just wasted 90 minutes of your life which you won't be getting back again

To be fair to The Hunger Games, although the majority of the film is indeed meh, the bit where the game actually begins and the weak little kids get brutally culled is quite entertaining.
