Seen this appear on Amazon, looked into it and seen it had that Eddie Redmayne in it. Don't know why as I have never seen anything he's been in but I have an irrational dislike therefore didn't watch.

Have never read the books, but I thought it was ok and passed a couple of hours without having to think about it.

I just looked at the synopsis & it had the word 'noir' in it.

 

I find these films are generally best avoided, I often end up feeling like a complete philistine after watching them.

I see Rise Of Skywalker has been digitally released early. 
 

I’ve acquired it. Will see if it leaves me as disappointed as it did in December, likely tomorrow.

 

On the plus side, I’ve also now got 1080hp if genuinely good films in Knives Out and 1917.
