Spider-Man (2002) - was surprised at how violent the last fight sequence is, especially as the rest of it is hammy as fuck. The special effects look like they were done on Paint, too. Still a good film, though, and I prefer it to any of the newer ones I've seen (bar Spider-verse). 7/10

The Devils - I think I'm going to have to watch this again. Oliver Reed and Vanessa Redgrave in a total batshit church corruption movie set in 17th century France. It looks brilliant but it's so bonkers it is hard to understand. This could either be 5/10 or 10/10. Final rating after second viewing required.

K-19 Widowmaker. Cant believe I've never seen this. It's on Netflix. Watched it last night. We've got a projector in the bedroom that covers pretty much the whole wall. It was great to watch on it to be fair. Very good film as well. 8/10.

I tried watching this, it looks great but the heat knocked me out. This weather is a widowmaker. I only saw the last few minutes. I'll try again.

 

Tonight having woken up a bit I watched The Platform. What the fuck was that about? 5/10.

Never fancied buying one of those projectors. Also unsure about quality of picture and sound

I got this one for her birthday off amazon. Honestly mate , in the dark its superb.

We didn't want a tv in the bedroom because its too easy but for a film in bed its like being at the pictures. Obviously its never going to be HD quality but the size of it etc more than makes up for it. Without fail every time we watch a film on it I go "how fucking boss is this" about 20 minutes into it.

Don't think it works like that, I think it needs a screen to project from so you can connect phones and laptops but not external hard drives. Based on what I've read anyway.
