The Silence of the Lambs film is still the best of all the screen versions of the stories, it's superb and I don't think there's a single thing wrong with it.  But I do love the TV series with Mads Mickelson.

They could have made Catherine Martin a bit hotter but other than that I agree with this.

I've said it before, Ridley Scott is a chancer who's made only one and a half good movies in the last 50 years.

Which are your one and a half?

Alien and Blade Runner are both absolute classics.

Not on the same level for me but you could cobble more than half out of Thelma & Louise, Gladiator, Black Hawk Down and The Martian.

I even quite like Matchstick Men.

Blade Runner isn't even that good. IMO.

Erm, he directed three episodes of Adam

Adament Lives, you bastard.

I reckon he’s made about half a dozen boss films.

Sorry We Missed You 8/10

Brilliant which is kind of weird to say about a film that is so tragically depressing and shameful of a country that allows companies to pursue profits over the lives and well being of ordinary working class people .

And after I Daniel Blake it’s great to know that Ken Loach speaks up for families and individuals who suffer under this kind of shite despite what twats like Toby Young may say.

Alien is 10/10, possibly the greatest horror film ever.

Blade Runner looks amazing and is no doubt highly influential but it's just never really floated my boat.

The rest of his stuff is a mixture of meh and shite.

Fair play, I did enjoy The Martian.

Haven't seen it yet. Feels like they saw Matt Damon play the lonely spaceman in Interstellar and just thought lets do a whole film of it. His character was a tosser in Interstellar so I'm expecting the same? Take it its worth a go then?

It's great, probably more like Apollo 13 than Interstellar really.
