Wickerman

The older I get, the better it gets.

Though Britt Eckland in the altogether was always a 10 of 10.

I still find the first pub scene the most unsettling part of the film. Saying that the whole film is like a bad dream.

That's good. I knew a "final" version had never been actually produced, but I didn't know that it had all been destroyed. Fucking hell!

If that was filmed now everyone would be sent home for breaking social distancing rules.

How far we done fell.

Guest Pistonbroke

Dark Shadows. (Netflix). 6.5/10

A film that passed me by when it was first released in 2012. Enjoyable enough, but not Tim Burton' finest work. Some funny moments but a bit of a jumble. I probably gave it an extra .5 for Depp' acting and Eva Green' fine rack.

it's so funny, the top of Wilder and Pryor's game. keep seeing and hearing new things in it and facial expressions that crack me up.

Great film but very overrated, I expected something godfather caliber ( not as good obviously) disappointed me

Shawshank Redemption is better than The Godfather.

The Godfather is great but overrated IMO. Goodfellas pisses on it from an almighty height.

Spotlight - 9/10. Very powerful film with an incredible cast. Mark Ruffalo is brilliant in this, as are Michael Keaton and Liev Shrieber. Pretty much everyone else is great too.

Four Lions

That was an interesting experience.

Hilarious movie--the scene where he's telling his son the revamped version of the Lion King, the water-pistol fight with his wife and brother, and many more--but at the same time I kept thinking of Manchester.

I'd recommend it, in any event.
