A Rainy Day in New York  6/10.

The one from Woody Allen which was temporarily shelved after the allegations resurfaced, not sure they did him a big favour by eventually releasing it. Great title, camera work is as always top notch, New York looks nice, but the rest is more than forgetful. Disappointing.

V For Vendetta is great.

Don’t be taking any watching advice from Tony, Elephant, he’s a miserable sod who thinks Kloppa Castle is Oscar worthy.

And ran a 7 year campaign to get his local Kwik-Save a Michelin Star because they stocked Crawfords Custard Creams.

Tony’s most treasured possession is his 1962 Tales From The Riverbank Annual, which he pulls out each night and rubs his cheek against a picture of Hammy Hamster, before he goes to sleep.

How can the opinion of such a man be trusted?

Sacha Baron Cohen got the inspiration for the hotel scene when he catches his assistant walking over his Pamela Anderson magazine from an incident in 1973 when Tony caught his friend Jimmy under his bed.

Ad Astra - 6.5/10

A quiet, lonely but very well shot film set in space essentially really only about the relationship between an emotionally distant father and his emotionally distant son.

Loved how the film was shot and had some very interesting ideas but very unbelievable at times. Like Gravity but even more loose from reality.

Loved that it had Space Pirates shooting laser guns.

It was ok, enjoyed it enough.

I mostly agree with this but wtf where those vicious space gibbons all about?

Us  8/10

Loved this, a real un-nerving horror and another cracker from Jordan Peele.

Really well shot, very well executed idea, very creepy ‘creatures’ with a great twist at the end. Great score and very well acted. Lupita Nyong’o was especially brilliant.

Was glued to the screen throughout.

Would watch again.

I'd score it a bit lower but great use of this song.

The Report - looks like a new film based on the revelations of torture of prisoners when trying to obtain intel on terrorism.

Perhaps enjoyable is the wrong word but certainly educational and in the current political climate goes to show that shit has been going on behind the scenes for decades and is by no means a new phenomenon.

It's made by Amazon studios.

Thought that the special effects for the space scenes were spectacular. On the big screen genuinely felt like actual footage of Neptune in the final scenes.

I'm looking forward to watching it again.

It chapter two. It's quite scary, not as much as chapter one. 6.5/10.

Kill Bill vol 1 way better than I remembered 9/10

Kill Bill vol 2 not quite as good but still 8/10
