Many? Memento? Keep taking  the tablets mate.

Memento is one of the greatest scripts every written and is by far Nolan's best film.

Other scripts better than Chinatown off the top of my head

Taxi Driver

All The Presidents Men

Glengarry Glen Ross

Dog Day Afternoon

Usual Suspects

Rear Window

Goodfellas

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind

Its A Wonderful Life

The Godfather Part II

Fargo

LA Confidential

2001 A Space Odyssey

The Apartment

The Producers

The Hustler

High Noon

Patton

The Verdict

Apart from 'Spotless Mind' I've seen all of those and there are indeed some fantastic films there. However, 'Chinatown' along with 'Casablanca' and 'The Godfather' are generally regarded within the trade as the best scripts ever written. But don't take my word for it:

A case could be argued for each of them I happen to think 'Chinatown' edges it.

Any decent screeners yet?

The wife wants to see La-La Land but I'm not arsed and therefore don't want to have to pay for the privilege of her dreaming about getting banged by Ryan Gosling for 2 hours.

I'll send you a PM mate.

La La Land and Arrival are both available but in DVD quality only. There's probably a few more by now. I'll be waiting for at least 720p myself.

Honestly thought it was fucking rubbish mate. Like a cross between Monsters and The Abyss, but nowhere near as good as either.

Booooo.

Not you mate,

I thought we had another clever Sci Fi film making you think and whatever Sci Fi should do.

A few lads I know have said it is shit but I was looking forward to it.
