21 Jump Street 8/10 - I'm surprised by how much I enjoyed this. I was expecting a few laughs, but at best your typical American comedy, but I actually found myself laughing quite a bit and even Tatum was funny. It gets an extra point due to the low expectations I had going in.

 

I wouldn't say it was Step Brothers good, but I did really enjoy it.

Ted, 7/10, very funny in parts and the Flash Gordon stuff is quality. Kunis is immense.

 

Expendables II, 4/10. Some good action scenes but it's excruciating at times, it's supposed to be though - I think.

I rented this in a moment of hungover weakness. A fine cast, but a mess of a film.

 

I enjoyed the Western section much more than the Sci-Fi bits; if they'd left it at that, instead of introducing the daft aliens, it would've been a better film.

as a big fan of Universal Soldier i was disappointed that Dolph and Van Damme not only didnt have some sort of re-match, but didnt even exchange a word.

The Expendables 2 - 6 out of 10. The final fight reminded me of the one in commando, apart from a massive pipe, a chain mail vest and a freddy mercury lookalike. Jean Claude van damme was Defo wearing some form of eyeliner as well.

Lovely Molly - Remarkable film. It's a horror, in a way, just not in the way you'd be familiar with. A newly married couple move into her dead parents' house whereupon the woman goes through all kinds of delusional and halucinary trauma with pretty horrific results. I'd highly recommend this if you want to see something a bit different. 8/10

I was really disappointed in the new one, i found it really slow to get going and quite flabby in the middle. I felt it lacked the fast pace and tension that was one of my favourite things about the original trilogy.
