Acid, you can get some lists here for your rival to Empire's film poll. Good luck.

In no order:

King of New York

Raging Bull

Wild at Heart

Bladerunner

Rebel Without a Cause

Star Wars

The Goonies

Napoleon Dynamite

Raiders of the Lost Ark

The Seven Samurai

It'll change though!

Fucking great film and just had a DVD release. That Schoolly D soundtrack is fucking ace and I've been after Am I Black Enough For You? on vinyl ever since I first saw the film. I love that Maceo and the Macks sample it's based around. Tune (even if the quality on this is shit):

In no particular order (except for the LOTR trilogy, which I can't separate; I see them as Tolkien saw the books, one continuous story)

The Lord of the Rings trilogy

Blazing Saddles

Ghostbusters

Godfather I

The Bourne Ultimatum

Big Trouble in Little China

Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels

Labyrinth

Jurassic Park

Shaun of the Dead

As you can see I have a random collection of favourite films. Obviously some of them are nowhere near the best films ever, (save for LOTR which I personally regard as the greatest films of all time) but some are special for a number of reasons eg. Labyrinth reminds me of being a kid, and Ghostbusters was when I was first ever really scared of a film- the library ghost terrified me!!

Amadeus

Almost Famous

Sunshine

Maverick

The Pianist

JFK

Serenity

The Insider

Adams Æbler

The Big Lebowski/no country for old men

I'm a huge Fincher fan, so a bit surprised I didn't find room for any of his movies.

The Godfather

The Godfather II

One flew over the cuckoos nest

Shawshank Redemption

The Untouchables

12 Angry Men

The General

Platoon

Jaws

Schindlers List

Not in that order and liable to change, alot.

That's brilliant that. Normally I find those old so called masterpieces a bit dull, but that one got me nailed to my seat.

You have a user name like that and don't include Rebel Without a Cause? pah, that's criminal.
