My best memory of the pit is after trying to convert a mate to Liverpool and dragging him to the Kop. Age 14.

I was forced to do the return and stand in the Gladys street with a most pround blue nose.

This was until someone grabbed the badge encrused hat off his head during the match. He spent the whole match in tears emploring us to help him find it as he would recognise it instantly. We ignored him and enjoyed Coventry (I think) beat them 3-0.

I've only been to Goodison four times and have seen us win twice and lose twice.

Although I didn't go, the Gary Mac derby was superb because I was watching it at my grandad's house, and he incidentally, is an Evertonian.

Went to the 3-1 win a few years ago, were Cisse took the piss out of Weir and left Martyn on his arse to wrap the game up.

The worst was deffo last year's 3-0 defeat. I was hungover to fuck and just went straight home to bed as soon as the match finished. Absolutely horendous experience.

I have been going the game since the early 1970's and can't EVER remember Chelsea EVER having 6,000 up here for a match, get your facts straight.

No maybe you should get YOUR facts straight. I would accuse you of memory loss, but I'm probably older than you are, so that would not make sense.

There's no way I can prove anything, so there's no point of me argueing. Perhaps there was quite a few Chelsea dotted around the ground, and not just in the Road end. But trust me, we have had 6000 in you place. We had 9000 at Newcastle once, so I don't think we would struggle to bring 6000 to your place.

If you have been around for a bit like you say you have, then you will know that Chelsea were notorious for having huge away followings. When we got away fans banned (sorry everyone), we still managed to bring several thousands.

I heard you nearly sold out a Champions League group game once.

Yeh, every single one, bar about 3. Paying £45 mimimum against Rosenborg at home. Do you think you would sell out?

Gary Mac's free kick still brings a massive smile to my face. Especially when you see all the lads jumping about manically, Sammy Lee=leg.

The worst for me is either last year, or the 2-0 with Ruddock and Cademateri. That was fucking painful watching.

Maybe not sell out but there'd probably be a better turn out than what your lot managed, 25,000 I think it was or thereabouts.

The most Chelsea have ever brought up here is around 3,500 maximum, in the 70's you used to bring around 150 maybe 250 and they used to get the shit kicked out of them from the minute they arrived till the minute they left. The only London clubs that have ever brought large numbers up here are Arsenal and Tottenham and they got snotted as well.

Yes, in the mid 80's Chelsea did have a reputation for taking 1,000's to Luton, Watford, QPR, etc but never to Anfield or Goodison and that my friend is actual FACT.
