Is this supposed to be the best players, or just your personal favourites?

 

its the best team you can possibly pick with the restriction of only one from every PL team.

 

Obviously Weeksie has found room for Alonso at the expense of Torres

 

its obviously about making sacrifices and choices to get your best players into that team

 

My team for example would crucify most teams on the counter attack with Ronaldo, Drogba & Torres

Here's mine. I'm surprised by the number of "votes" given to Woodgate, he must be massively overrated in England. He's a decent header of the ball, but his positional play is awful, and he turns slower than Sami... The only reason he looks half-decent is that the rest of his team-mates are so incredibly shit!

 

Like the look of young Gordon in goal, would ideally go with James, but think Distin is a good shout in central defense (would have gone with Nelsen of Blacburn otherwise)

Bang on there, our resident strawberry blonde.

 

Just can't beat that, given that you would say Gerrard is chosen over Torres on weight of contribution over time and Owen's record makes him an ample stand-in.
