On a related theme, the chase from Point Break is, in my opinion, the best in cinema history, pissing all over The French Connection and Bullet. Unfortunately, this clip (weirdly, as it's entitled 'Chase') only has half the action - the bit on foot. It cuts out the car chase that immediately precedes it.

He's the British fella who searches Sonny and Rico and tells them to walk over to the car when they meet the big boss at night after their cell phones have been jammed.

Empire Strikes Back, battle on Hoth for me. Rebels set up camp on remote planet Hoth and are found by Vaders droids. The first image of the AT-AT walker on the horizon was awesome, as was the subsequent battle.

I have to agree the foot chase on point break raises the film above the run of the mill movie. And of course the plane jump . . . hehe. Its a great film.
