Pressure is off now though as we are out, so it might be a total slog fest.

Or we might be all out for 80

We just haven't got the fight or the technique Weeksie mate, we won't get anywhere near it, however we play...if we go slogging we are all out early, if we try measured hitting we won't get within 30 or 40 of it.

Yeah, truth and more truth. I was thinking about this the other day, we always do really badly in these sort of aggressive games (Dirk said something about not having that mentality) but its not like we have a really shite team. We beat the aussies in an ODI series this year, we did India, but did fucking badly in the ODI world cup. Its an enigma wrapped up in a riddle covered in mysteries.

It wasn't slogging, it was proper cricket with the middle of the bat. Well done Yuvraj for doing your talking with the bat after some verbals from Flintoff. The sub-continent teams have been known in the past for having talent but not much discipline. It's probably why 20/20 suits them. What a hit son.

Well and truly game oovah.

Which bowler/s have been doing the damage paddy?

Stuart Clark taken the last 2 to fall Weeksie, Brett Lee got 2, Clark has 4 and Bracken the other one...Jayasuriya 0 and Tharanga 4...when the openers don't do it, then Sri Lanka struggle.

Flintoff the big pudding is out of the one day series in Sri Lanka, returning home for treatment on his ankle, replaced in the squad by Tremlett.

It begs the question, why the fuck was he playing in the India game which was meaningless if he was carrying an injury? You know what, his career is being shortened by constantly playing him whilst injured.

The england selectors need to realise that we'll never get the Flintoff/Hoggard/Jones/Harmison bowling attack back in one piece, so should be looking to the future. Flintoff is such a nice bloke, but his ankle is just fucked now.

Tremlett/Anderson/Broad/Panesar is our new attack (maybe with Sidebottom too), so they should all get the time to grow into being proper international players.

Agreed mate.

On the subject of injuries, Shane Watson is injured AGAIN! They finally get him on the field, and hes now done a hamstring.

Looks like South Africa might be on the end of a shock here. 23/3 chasing 154 to beat India. It all looked rosy after India batted but they need some big performances from the likes of Kemp, Boucher and Pollock to turn this one round. Could be good entertainment if they do.

If get SA get more than 126, the Kiwis go home.

And did I just see Karthik behind the stumps for India? Dhoni injured?
