Pet Sounds - Beach Boys

Pet Sounds is one of the finest albums ever made and The Beach Boys are one of the best bands. I don't see the point in comparing them to The Beatles and then declaring them shite as you're talking about two great bands. Brian Wilson was a composer more than a song writer, a man who completely immersed himself in his music to the point of insanity. To suggest Pet Sounds is an aged album is a joke. The album was way ahead of it's time and was released before Sgt Pepper, which was in effect The Beatles (in my opinion, inferior) response to Wilson's masterpiece.

Are you sure? Though Pet Sounds was Wilson's response to Pepper's.

Pet Sounds is an amazing album. The songs are deceptively intricate and well thought out, there are some stone cold classics on it, and as a whole it just works.

If you want overrated, go listen to Sgt. Pepper.

Jesus fucking christ
