The difference in strength in depth is really notable compared to last season. Rafa really can put out a lot of different teams of pretty much equal strength.

Possibilities, for sure.

Just because he can though, doesn't mean he should. A good team is a settled team based on the understanding between it's players. Chopping and changing players 'even of equal strength' is detrimental to the teams development and makes it hard to build up a head of steam.

I want to see a settled side for all our league games this season, and we should only be 'resting' players during Carling Cup games.

Whether he should is another debate. The manager has built a squad in order to use it. It's the way he works.

Even though we have four forwards in our squad they can't be interchanged just like that, because they bring different things to the team. It's about the tactics for the day, how Rafa chooses to approach the particular game.

Plus, the notion about Rafa the Rotator is a myth shuffled about by the media. He doesn't make any more changes during the league campaign than Mourinho or the pant-shitting cunt.

Their goalkeeper will probably be the biggest problem for us this afternoon.

Good player looking to impress and how many times have we seen the opposition keeper defy us with a MOM performance.

Keep going today, Reds. Keep attacking. Keane only has so many options and we may get joy in attacking the centre of goal, around 25-35 yeards out, where arl Dwight Yorke will have spent the game keeping up and chasing Xabi's shadow.

Or just cain them cos their cack.

We always make goal keepers look good, Liverpool are the only club that made Massimo Taibi look world class! We need to start killing off teams.

Its easy to make a goal keeper look good when every shot you have seems to be aimed at the keeper. I hope Torres can change that though.
