Do people expect us to field a pretty strong lineup for this one.

 

Looking at who was missing on Friday you would expect a pretty much full strength side out today.

Yeah I think we'll see Gerrard Carra Agger Mascherano and Kewell all starting.

Cant make me mind up if i would like Crouch to start as in the majority of the games he has played he has looked rusty or if i want Torres to start to continue his match fitness and hopefully add to his goals.

 

Its still on a friendly and wouldnt be surprised to see Rafa try something different again. Possibly a 4-3-3 formation with Alonso, Mascherano and Gerrard in the middle (give Momo a break has hes been his usual powerhouse self) and possilby Kewell,Kuyt and Torres and the 3.

 

That formation obviously wont happen as Pennant will be playing to day but i would like to see that attacking side against some of the teams at the bottom of the Premier.

Rafa really should go for a team which will be close to the one he will send out against Villa, which I think he will do (dont know why, its Rafa were talking about here!). The Mash needs another game as he's missed quite a bit of pre-season, so i'd expect to see him alongside Gerrard today.

Funny as fuck everytime Kuyt got the ball and than Babel gets the ball. Chuckled liek a little kid, don't knwo why but I just foudn it very funny...

that was his first game against the Chinese since coming back after the 7(?) games he played in the U20 world cup but he looked good, defended well, overlapped well, put in the odd cross

Id be very interested to see where Stevie plays today, ie in the centre or wide right because If he plays CM and plays RM next saturday that will be the first time Stevie will have played RM this season.

No, I'm not having that! He's a grown man, and should know better. I don't care if he fails to spell all other words correctly, but it's incredibly annoying when someone consistently misspells names of Liverpool-players. Aggar, what the fu*k? Does he mean Hagar?
