Only thing being in this case I actually feel sorry for the team!

Same here. Loved Carson's pen though.

There arn't as many twats in the U21's as there are in the 1st team. Still, I won't be losing any sleep.

The Dutch keeper is nearly at the penalty spot when the balls kicked..

Yep and the ref never batted an eyelid- WTF.He didn't have too good a game overall and he never allowed for tiredness causing misstimed tackles - another UEFA lapdog. What a great game though, the England lads gave it everything. I think Scott needs to attend a few masterclasses with Pepe to sort out his shoot out tactics. Here's hoping the Dutch twat the Pikey's in the final.

Felt sorry for England last night - they battled really well and deserved more than they got.

Watching Carson trying to save the penalties made you realise just how fast and agile Reina is though. That's not a criticism of Carson because he's a good goalkeeper, but it made you appreciate Reina even more.

I was thinking the same thing Senor Brown. Reina is so quick in that situation.

Fair play to Pearce afterwards, he was very gracious after the loss.....pointed out that he told the Dutch manager Taylor should take a penalty. Which is right in my opinion, as he finished the match. Great spot kick! Expect the Dutch to win by 2 goals in the final.

What was Reo Coker doing only taking the 6th or 7th penalty? As Captain, he should be up first or second, or maybe the last one if the result rides on that. The guy is a joke. Only for so many injuries, he may have even been lower on the rota.

The fact he missed as well doesn't actually make things any worse really, but it doesn't exactly help his case either. As we saw, Stevie and Carra missed pens last year, but the point is, that Carra was up there taking one in the first place. Where were all the front men?

did you see the state of his penalty? thats why he wasn't up earlier.

typical bleeding heart england, beaten on penalties again. they done alright but really with the resources england have they should be dominating world football at every level.

Reo-Coker - the 21st century Paul "Guv'nor" Ince. All mouth and no balls.

What if they decided to go in order of penalty taking ability?

Didn't watch it. Why did it have to go to 32 penalties?

Its in UEFA rules, all semi-finals in the U21's do....well, no less than 28 anyway.
