I loved him when he was coming up (first fights in the ufc, didn't know before that)

Spoke to an old timer who had trained Tyson and who was around boxing and  UFC.  Asked him what about this young buck McGregor was he really any good his opinion was both correct and prophetic . He said absolutely he was the real deal could fight and box. However he added Irish sports stars who get a bit of success tend to self destruct reckoned it was 50/50 mcgregor would become a knob . On reflection you are right his descent into knobbery was not immediately apparent at the start . He was a true Rocky story at the start .

Why does he stand like that, he doesn't need too. People who become nob heads must of been one in the first place, success just gave them the option to be themselves. No idea if he is actually a nob head I've never seen anything of him other than a few fights.

Not sure where the fella got the idea he could box? McGregor was an atrocious amateur boxer. 
 

He’s an absolute fraud in every sense. Even his “working class” shite is bullshite. His dad was a taxi driver pre deregulation when plates changed hands for over £50k and a taxi driver was in the top 2% earner in the state.  Little man syndrome to an extreme level.
