My grandad had a duck egg blue escort estate. It had holes in the floor, you could watch the road fly by underneath. Ashtrays full of ciggies, seat belts gave more slack Boris Johnson gets. A complete rusty death trap. The colour was still the worst thing about it.

My dad had a serious selection of shit cars throughout the 70's and 80's , the worst in my memory was an ancient Vauxhall viva with more rust than paint and the rear passenger door being held on with duck tape.

I can see the effort, but fuck me,it’s brand new and at least 30 years old, so a shoe horned fail.

nice car, pity about the gag.

Nice car indeed. Looks like an rs2000. If the owner kept it in that condition, it'd be worth a fortune.

Same- at one point the sad bastard 'upgraded' from a Fiat Mirafiori estate to a Vauxhall Cavalier hatchback.

More importantly it looks like it has the x-pack alloys on it. They are really rare. I have one pair but have been struggling for ages to find another couple to make up a full set.

Your expert opinion was my reason for leaving it at least 30 years, I suspect you have the date of manufacture and chassis number!

I haven't seen a picture of it with the full registration number, if I had that then the date of manufacture, factory it was built in and full options list would be forthcoming.

Fair play, I think I tracked down a fair amount of that for the 944 from the VIN.

on a separate note, and deffo not a funny picture, but I just spent 20 minutes fully absorbed in some one doing a full restoration job on a 1930’s vice.

That's what I heard Lemmy say on one of his videos, but goes on to say there will still be people who are little darker and lighter that not everyone will ever be happy.

Aye that’s the fella, didn’t know he did video’s though, remember a BBC documentary on him.

Did go to his LA hangout when we were over there, not long after he died.

Lemmy sang "Ace of Spades", Limmy sang "Wrong Way Down a One Way Street".

I am sure Limmy must have done a Lemmy cover. He’s done the Benny hill theme and the Golden Girls.

He read a letter out from a young black man who loved rock/metal but his whole community and family was giving him loads of shit over it. Lemmy advised him to do and be what he wants, he used Little Richard as an example of a black man who pursued rock and roll, while his community ostracised him. But he did what he loved. He told him that the only solution that would end the ridiculous racial judgement was we all fuck until everyone is 'coffee coloured' but even then some will be darker/lighter than others so even that may not solve it.

Aha here it is...
