I went a couple of times, my Mrs and 2 of her brothers were regulars, long before I met her though.

Those brothers are both dead now, but one of them had his 50th in a little working mens club on Scot Lane in Wigan.

The DJ was none other than Russ Winstanley, one of the main DJ's at Wigan Casino and an absolute legend. I talked with him for ages.

The floor was packed with old Soulies. I was gutted I couldn't join them. 

It was a brilliant night though.
