Y'know, just fucking boss tunes, tunes that you instinctively turn up to 11.

Just had my iPOD on shuffle walking down the shops, and I got that immersed in "Life on Mars" i walked right past the fucking shop, and only realised about 150 yards further down the road.

Other tune that can do that to me, "There she goes" by The La's, can get totally lost in that.

Anyone else get this, or am i just fucking weird

Was reading the latest issue of Word on the train and it had an interview with Leonard Cohen and he was talking about writing Hallelujah so I got my Ipod out and turned that song on full blast.

Never get tired of it. One of the best songs ever written.

A couple of La's tunes do this for me, 'Son of a Gun', 'Timeless Melody' and 'Looking Glass' (and 'Over' from the BBC sessions CD)

I have so so so so many to mention...so I won't but another one I was listening to this morning is John Lennon's 'Mind Games'....can't find one fault in that tune so I just switch off and listen to it and ignore evreything else.

A few years old yes. Some of their other stuff is class but I've never really got into them that much. They will never beat 'The Rat' anyway.
