Love this, my reference was Massive Attack which is a cool version. When I found out it was a cover I was blown away when I heard this.

It’s a cracker. A short sample of it is casually dropped into Gangsta Gangsta by NWA as well, during Eazy’s part.

There was a retrospective on Radio 6 earlier in the week with Jim and Charlie talking about the making of New Gold Dream (last week was the 30th anniversary (sob) of Nowhere by Ride). God, Simple Minds' early stuff was top class. I saw them at Wembley in 1988 and they were bland as fuck by then, such a shame they disappeared up their own arse.

Aah. one of the slowies from the school disco.

Hurt by the same band as well as Have you seen her by the Chi-Lites and Hey there lonely girl by Eddie Holman.

Many a good grind to them as a young teen.

Good times.

Love the Chi-Lites.

Actually prefer their version of Inner City Blues to Marvin Gaye's.

Whatever happened to bands like that?

They just oozed quality and class.

Hadn't heard that Manhattans track in years So thanks for that.

Can't rep for some reason, just don't have the facility.

So I owe you.
