On that note, how much of a pain in the arse are the trains on Sunday. We have gotta get the 9.27 in order to change a couple of times to get up there in reasonable time to have a few cheeky halves pre match.

our train leaves at 9.20 from preston, theres 13 of us going down & we are having a liquid breakfast. these early kickoffs are a pain in the arse.

Rafa's had 10 day's to prepare the team for this, hopefully we'll tear them a new arsehole.

Agree with that. We always perform well when we've had a nice big break so I think we will get a performance tomorrow. Thats not really the problem though, we always get good performances, we dont always get enough goals!

I hope Macher starts today, it seems like he has been at the club for quite a while now and he has only played once. I don't know who will be left out maybe Momo but he needs a few games as well to get back to full sharpness.

Agreed, I'd like to see Mascherano play at some point today and I hope it is more than a cameo. I'm not sure whether we will start with him but I wouldn't be angered by his selection. I'd rather see him in the team than Pennant, that's fo' sho'.

Preparing for life without Alonso in the starting 11 then.

One thing i cant understand is no Arbeloa again. I thought he has looked good in both games he has played so far against top players.
