8 out of 10 for me. Thought it was very good. Hopefully as the series goes along it'll iron out some kinks and we'll get used to the setting.

Thought Jenny Gresham (that right?) was excellent. Funny when she stole his off-air lines. Lynne's cameo was brilliant - "That's a nice red top."

The hacktivist interview was a bit forced - although when he was reading out alan's internet search and emails was excruciating. "John Inverdale's salary."

I've just re-watched KMKYWAP, which I think is Partridge's high point. It's a high bar to reach.

I only got round to watching it last night, my mate had told me it was utter dogshit, which lowered my expectations somewhat but I thought it was good. The hand washing segment was class & the bit where he'd Googled John Inverdale's salary, I was pissing myself at that.

Also the co-presenter is a bit of a Lidl Katy Perry, which is a bonus.

A bit average but funny in places. It was basically one long drawn out gag of him fucking up on his return to TV . It needed moving on to the aftermath which I guess will be the next instalment.

i kind of think it will be like "knowing me, knowing you" and this series will just be him doing half a dozen episodes.

Hope not . The on air , totally inappropriate buffoonish behaviour, does get tired . I liked the motel scenes he did last series.

Glad someone else picked up on this. I suppose if anyone did, it would be you.

I really enjoyed the first episode, and I remember the second series of I'm Alan Partridge getting a mixed reaction from viewers too.
