Just want to express my disgust at the huge cheer that went up at the end of the match last night when the man utd result was announced on the tannoy.

What sort of thick bastards were cheering that result after we had just capitulated against those neandethals. Maybe the ones who ran off happy because they had a club shop bag? Maybe the ones who wil return home to northampton etc happy because they can rib their friends about man utd. Maybe it was the scousers?

 

It nearly pissed me off as much as when the walton-break-road-mcdonalds-family-stand (formally the Spion Kop) started singing "one-nil to the arsenal" last season against blackburn.

 

Sort it out or fuck off to old trafford.

 

I am not saying that we should all storm out like spoilt kids (like i did!!) but surely that annoyed others?

Do you mind some of us are unfortunate to live in northampton, and happen to go to a lot of games, spending money and not booing our team and cheering other results or any of that stuff.

 

I have to spend the money i should be using to watch more away games by using virgin trains, booking hotel etc.....

 

Does it make me less of a fan.

 

NO.

 

Put kettering or something instead, as thats even worse tan this god forsaken place i live in.

Ok ok, i knew i was going to get this!

Northampton was a name i plucked out of the air as i have been there and seen a lot of reds (is pickering fipps still open?!)

It was not a go at northampton, or any other out of town reds, as you say they have to pay more money etc to come.....although the priority i believe they get is a disgrace, but thats for another post another time!!

BUT!

It does seem that it is the OOT reds who are obsessed with the Man Utd thing, hence the cheering.

 

This was not a point against you lot, or anything else apart from the cheering at the end of the birmingham game.
