It just paints a lovely domestic scene of life in the Iniesta household - Andres proudly carrying his trophy to the breakfast table (probably still wearing his kit and medal) and his mum having to clean up after him.

There is also the added surrealist strata of Iniesta's face / head being distinctly ovoid.

I started reading Viz when I was about 18 or so then for some reason I stopped buying it then started again. I then started subscribing about 3 or four years ago. I've go a gap of missing issues spanning two or three years which I've been promising myself I'd get round to filling. Need to get a list together of what I'm missing and get to work on it.

Viz did a reproduction a few years ago of the very first issue which I bought but then somehow managed to lose.

Best month of the year, furthest away from fucking Christmas.

Unless you have a time machine.

Our daughter said she needs the car on Friday evening. When I asked why she said, 'To pick Dennis (her BF) up from a works Christmas function. There is no escape mate.

Bertie Blunt and the Parkie were two of my favourites, loved Rude Kid too.  I think Bertie was a one off, and I was lucky to find it on the Viz site years ago.  It's gone from their site now, I bet they've got a backlog of some absolute classics stashed away somewhere.
